Talk of the Bears moving to Indiana has me thinking of a report we did for the same area (Illinois side) that proposes that this become a region of specialized conservancy projects based on remediating the land from the old steel plants, and making it safe for the many birds that pass through while migrating. A highlight of the project was being able to work with Jin Lee who I think is great. I included some of my favorite photos of hers below as well.
